We’re Lentille Photography, known for newborn photography in Houston and surrounding areas. Most of our families come from all over the city—Bellaire, The Heights, Katy, and beyond—because they want something simple, beautiful, and built around them.
While our natural light studio is located in The Heights, families drive from all over for a reason: this experience is different. We photograph newborn sessions with a laid-back approach that still feels elevated. There’s a wardrobe waiting for you. Hair and makeup is arranged if you’d like. Your partner doesn’t have to be convinced, and your toddler gets to be wild. You get to show up and be seen in the photos—an easy day, no prep, just real connection.

Most parents reserve their Houston newborn photography session during the second trimester, so everything is planned long before baby arrives. Once they’re here, all you have to do is walk through our studio doors. We’ll handle the rest.

When should I reserve my session with your Houston Baby Photographer team?
This is probably the most asked question, and we always give a super loose answer: it really is up to you! Our style is so laid back and relaxed, so you can bring baby in at 10 days or 6 weeks old, it’s whatever you are comfortable with. Some parents want to ensure we photograph the newness of a brand new baby, while others would rather get home from the hospital and have a couple of weeks to rest before pictures. Either works!

When is the best time to reserve my newborn pictures?
We always say to do this as soon as you know you’d like to work with our team. For some parents this means in their first trimester, for others it’s their second, and then for a few it’s when they stumble upon us right before delivery. We do take a limited number of families each month, and while we try our very best to save room for those last-minute sessions we can’t guarantee that we’ll always have space. In order to ensure your due date is available, reach as early as possible!

Is family included in newborn photos?
Family is always included, along with one set of grandparents! We’re big believers that this baby is being born into a lot of loving arms, and those are the pictures that you’ll get the most of. While we do make sure to grab 5-10 images of just baby, the majority of your gallery is going to be family-focused and include baby with someone (mom, dad, sibling(s), or the first born pet). And yes, pets are allowed too!

I’m looking for a Houston baby photographer who helps with styling. Do you include wardrobe?
We have so many things to choose from and it’s ALL included when you reserve a session with us. Over 200 dresses for mom, clothing for the kiddos (nb-14), and shirts for dads (small-XXL) means that you won’t have to do any shopping for your session and that’s money saved.

Can we get just the digitals from our newborn or baby session?
Absolutely. Digital files are always available to our clients and delivered in an online gallery with print rights and no limit in print size ability. We offer various amounts for purchase and there’s something to meet every need.

Is hair & makeup included before my newborn session?
We connect you with our preferred stylist and she ensures that all of the details for your hair and makeup are taken care of. You’ll pay her directly, however you are more than welcome to get ready at the Studio or your home; whichever is easiest for you.
