So here is something I hate to admit: portraits of my own family always take a back seat.
I’m so busy photographing everyone else, and it’s hard to carve out time to get my family together.
But, that needed to change.
I realized I didn’t have any “big girl camera” pictures of my parents and my kiddos.
They visited from North Carolina, and I put it on my list of things to do.
When it would have been so much easier to relax and enjoy them, I made everyone get dressed (I means Studio Wardrobe-that’s easy!) and we headed to my field.
You all, I will treasure these images forever.
The love my babies have for my parents is captured perfectly.
The way Charlie plays karate with my Dad, or the way Cullen melts into my Mom’s arms.
It is moments like these that belong in print.
So that, we did.
We ordered prints, we ordered albums, and now we have it.
Forever.
