During a newborn session, the focus is generally on the new baby; however, I love watching the new big sister or brother. It’s fascinating to watch a toddler openly love their new sibling, their worlds having been just turned upside down, but they have so much love. It makes me think about how a child can make a new friend at the park, moments from having just met this new person. No reservations, no judgements, just open hearts to form new relationships. What a wonderful way to live, right?! What would this world be if we all approached it more like a toddler? There would be open ended joy, exploration, friendships and so much love to go around. May we all be a bit more like a child today!
