That first year is such a milestone for parents. It signifies the end of the first whole year your entire world changed. I talk about it so often, but gah does it go by too fast and while you’re in it, it’s difficult to see the forest through the trees. That is the exact reason I want you to document the moments. Document the milestones, document the day to day, document the details. Take them now, with you in them, so you have those bits of treasure to look back on down the road when your not-so-baby slams the door in your face for the 10th time or the night before they walk the stage for their graduation or the day they tell you they’re having a baby of their own. Babies don’t keep, but professional images do.
