Today I wanted to share a bit about my favorite part of working with a client… the ordering appointment! I cannot tell you how many people I know who invest a great sum of money into having family photographs taken, just for them to sit in a desk drawer on a USB forever. I love the ordering appointment because I LOVE helping a family get their portraits into their homes! Planning a collage of photos for the wall of a family room or helping to design a beautiful photo album to adorn a coffee table are the best parts of my week. When packing up my house to move, I realized that I have SO much stuff that I’ve kept and I just don’t care to keep any longer. I am not a sentimental person, throw away allllll the stuffs… but the one thing that I am am sentimental about are my printed portraits. I cherish each one and I know that they will be around for years for my children and possible grandchildren to enjoy. When all is said and done, the memories are what matters. You can enjoy a photograph on a USB, so take that extra step and print your photographs. You will be so happy you did!
