Welcome to The Motherhood Collective.
As a photographer, I’ve said ten thousand times to take pictures with your babies. That they grow too fast and you can never have enough. As a photographer, this is the one image that I don’t have enough of. I’m always the one behind the camera, and rarely the one being photographed.
That is about to change.
I am so lucky to have some very talented photog friends, and we’ve decided to document ourselves and our babies through The Motherhood Collective. Once a month, we will use a timer or our tripod husbands and we will have our picture taken. No matter how imperfect or perfect the moment is, we will have tangible proof of motherhood with the little ones that have allowed us to experience this part of life.
This first image is so fitting for motherhood. Those sleepless years and their constant need for something can make life a blur. We can lose focus on what’s really important, which is just to love your babies. I’m guilty, too.
The days are long but the years are short. Don’t miss out on the tiniest moments that make up the biggest memories.
